About me
George Schlott is a Client Relations Senior Account Executive for ACT, Inc. working with PK-12 educational institutions in the States of Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. George’s primary responsibilities include work with elementary/secondary schools to assist them in their selection and implementing ACT programs and services to advance their mission of preparing their students for college and career.
In his present position, with ACT, George conducts state-wide workshops, works with school leadership and improvement teams, and presents at state and national conferences on various solutions, products, and services that are elements of the ACT College and Career Readiness System.
George began his at ACT in of July 2006 following his retirement from the Plainfield Community School District in Plainfield IL. During his 37 years at Plainfield School District, he was a high school mathematics teacher, a high school counselor, and an Assistant/Associate Principal for Student Services. Additionally, he worked 28 years as an adjunct faculty member in the Counseling Department at Joliet Junior College.
In all of his positions, George has used ACT products and services in his work with students, parents, schools and districts to improve College & Career Readiness.
